Anita L. Hunt, 79, of Decatur, IL, died 11:45 A.M., Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral Mass will be 11:15 A.M., Friday, February 22, 2008, at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 4 to 7 P.M. Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with a Prayer Service at 7 P.M. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Blue Mound Twp.Memorials may be made to St. Patricks Catholic Church.Anita was born April 28, 1928, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Claude and Margaret (Culumber) Munster. She married Vincent Thomas Hunt on August 31, 1946, in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1994.Anita was the caregiver for family and friends whenever the need would arise. Her family and especially her grandkids and great grandkids were the love of her life. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church for many years.She is survived by her daughter Linda (Mark) Hammer of Oreana; sons Thomas (Diane) Hunt and Bob (Pam) Hunt, all of Decatur; sisters Mary (Len) Fleckenstein of Springfield, IL, Kathryn (John) Green of Largo, FL; sister-in-law Mary Jane (Dike) Tuttle of Albuquerque, NM, Ruth Charlene Hunt of Decatur; brother-in-law David Younger of Decatur; grandchildren Lisa (James) Gowen of St. Jacob, IL, Scott (Bobbi) Hammer of Princeton, KY, Heather (John) Roberts of Mt. Zion, IL, Nick Hunt of Decatur, Suzanne and Jason Hunt of Decatur; great grandchildren Trinity, Ryan, and Logan Hammer, Amanda and Drew Gowen, John, Reid, and Lane Roberts, Madison and MaKayla Hunt.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Vincent.
