Andrew John Wilson, Jr., 73, of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, February 20, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. The family requests casual attire. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Decatur-Macon County. Andrew was born August 15, 1941, in Decatur, IL, the son of Andrew John, Sr. and Verda D. (Jinks) Wilson. He married Margery J. Faulkner on November 27, 1964 in Decatur, IL. Andrew was a graduate of Eisenhower High School and worked at St. Mary's Hospital as Groundskeeper for 38 years. He also served several years with the Macon County Sheriff's Auxiliary. He is survived by his children Andrew John Wilson III, Matthew K. (Jean) Wilson, all of Decatur, IL, Joshua D. Wilson of Mattoon, IL; sisters Sharon Bradley of Decatur, IL and Rosemarie (Scott T.) Parish of Weldon, IL; several nieces and nephews; special friend Carolyn Traughber of Decatur, IL; and his dog Dali. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and stepfather James Jones. "
