Alma Schuman

Alma M. Schuman, 93, of Decatur, IL, passed away October 29, 2019, at Imboden Creek Nursing Home, Decatur, IL. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Alma was born April 29, 1926, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of John T. and Cleda Bell (Hoxey) Stickles. She married Kenneth Robert Schuman on January 18, 1943 in Clayton, MO. Alma was a member of Lampstand Presbyterian Church. She worked in customer service for Montgomery Wards. Alma volunteered at the Salvation Army Meals on Wheels and enjoyed playing golf. She is survived by her children Pamela S. (William H.) Wyatt of Hurst, IL, Michael D. (Sandra J.) Schuman of Noblesville, IN, Toni L. (Danny L.) Reynolds of Decatur; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Darlene (Herman) Hale of Decatur, Susan (Jerry) Zientara of Decatur; brother John (Wanda) Stickles of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Linda L. Legg, and brother Ted Stickles.
