Alice Eileen Brumett, 85, of Decatur formerly of Warrensburg and Inverness, FL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Alice was born on November 21, 1939 in Decatur, IL daughter of Orval and Ruth (Alexander) Henderson. She married Norman Brumett on September 8, 1957, in Decatur.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Alice was known for her kind heart, creative hands and deep love for her family. Alice touched the lives of many throughout her years.

Alice served as the President of the Resident Council at Mt. Zion Rehab where she brought warmth, joy and companionship to countless residents. Her natural ability to make others feel seen and cared for made her a bright light in every room she entered.
