Albertine Pauline "Albie" (Maton) Pellegrini, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014, at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday (02-24-2014) at Calvary Cemetery, Pana, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project. Albertine was born March 22, 1922, in Pana, IL, the daughter of Amileable and Georgette (Gaillard) Maton. She married Angelo J. Pellegrini on July 23, 1941, in St. Charles MO. He preceded her in death. Albertine was a graduate of Pana Township High School. She attended MacMurray College and Eastern Illinois State Teachers College. She retired from St. Mary's Obstetrics Department after 30 years of service. Surviving are her children: Lynne Pellegrini-Padovan and husband Raymond of Charleston, IL; Gregory A. Pellegrini and wife Debra of Pawnee, IL; Stephen A. "Buzz" Pellegrini and wife Bethanne of Springfield, IL; grandchildren: Jason A. Pellegrini and wife Diane of Austin, TX; Achsah Padovan and significant other Rob Dickens of Sullivan, IL; Seth A. Padovan and wife Elizabeth of Reno, NV; Zackery V. Pellegrini of Springfield, IL; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Albertine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters Loretta Maton-Davey and Lillian Maton-Bercich. "
