Alberta J. Simpson, 93, of Decatur, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Fair Havens Christian Home.Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 4, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis, IL. Alberta was born July 16, 1924, in Harristown, the daughter of Walter F. and Anna Marie (Willard) Lee. She married Bryan Edwin Simpson May 19, 1945, in Illiopolis. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Bryan of Decatur; niece Marilyn LeMire (Jerry) of Westmont, IL; nephews, David Lee and Paul Lee (Jill), all of Illiopolis, and James Lee of Fayetteville, GA; her loveable dog, Winnie; close friends, Ramona St. Pierre, Shirley Krall, Loretta Bartram, Bonnie Matthews, and many more friends. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kenneth Lee and Herbert Lee. "
