Aileen Hays

There will be a graveside service 10:00 AM Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Fairlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials have been suggested to the Shriners Childrens HospitalAileen G. Hays was born February 25, 1915 in Jacksonville, IL, the daughter of Manuel and ReFina (DeFrates) De Goveia. She married Albert Hays on August 8, 1939 in Iowa. Aileen worked as a secretary for the public school system and was also a member of Central Christian Church.Survivng Aileen are her son, Robert A. Hays and wife Peggy of Gilbert, Arizona; and granddaughter, Gretchen Hays of Washington D.C..She was preceded in death by both parents, husband, one daughter Linda Lee Hays, two brothers and one sister.
