Adele M. Crowe, 73, of Decatur passed away November 13, 2023 at her home, after a brave, hard fight against cancer..
The family will host a Celebration of Adele’s Life at Robin and Adele’s Home on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM.
Adele was born September 25, 1950 in Westchester, IL, the daughter of Julius and Novie (Levine) Neapolitan. She married Robin Crowe on May 27, 1972 in Peoria. Adele was a computer specialist for Decatur Public School District 61 and also worked for the Better Business Bureau. She enjoyed word games and was extremely good at playing card games like Spades and Hearts. Adele also loved betting on the horses and playing board games like Cribbage with Robin.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Robin; son, Greg (Angela) Crowe of Decatur; daughter, Julia Crowe (Mark Fiebelkorn) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: Ryan, Kathryn and Sophia; and brother, Jerry (Cella) Neapolitan of Cooksville, TN.
Adele was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Neapolitan and her beloved Border Collie, Lady Bird.
