The International Order of the Golden Rule holds its funeral director members to the highest standards of service, integrity, care, and compassion. The Order continuously measures performance by conducting interviews with families served by each member. Membership is awarded to only one funeral home in each city.

In 1994, National Selected Morticians, now known as Selected Independent Funeral Homes, invited Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes to join its elite membership. Dedicated to the highest standards of service in the funeral profession, the organization actively monitors its members to ensure consumers receive the highest possible standard of care. Brintlinger and Earl received the invitation after a thorough evaluation of our reputation, facilities, and professionalism.
The Illinois Funeral Directors Association (IFDA) is a statewide organization that serves to update and educate the public and the funeral profession on funeral service. IFDA also strives for unity and cooperation among funeral professionals.
The National Funeral Directors Association's (NFDA) mission is to help members enhance the quality of service to families. It is the largest organization for the funeral service profession in the world.
The Cremation Association of North America strives to educate the public and its members on cremation and its role as preparation for memorialization.
